This course is to equip students with the necessary math knowledge and problem-solving skills to participate in AMC 8, or its equivalence like MATHCOUNTS. Contents of pre-algebra will be covered extensively in this one-year course. Particularly, the problem-solving skills needed in AMC8 will be taught in depth. Some advanced content will be added for students to better understand the subjects. After the completion of this course, students are expected to be ready to take AMC8 and pursue further success in the next level of math contests.
